Server Numbers - Not Real! (sort of)

A couple of days ago everyone was excited about the supposed discovery of a ticker that showed the amount of players on the LotRO US servers at any one time. However, it turns out that the counter really tallied up how many people had played since the last server restart.

My question is, if they can access those numbers, shouldn't they be able to access the real-time data as well?

  1. Not really.

The data they were parsing was from an XML feed the servers passes back to the launcher upon login.

It's used for determining world queues and login procedures. None of which rely on actually having a running count of the people logged in currently.

I can't ever see it being a number that Turbine ever release.

  2. S4:supports'status improved,battle towards baron matters more

Season 3 is just around the corner, and designers have shown a new phenomenon of S4 to players through all kinds of revelation.

    Supports will be enhanced:

Supports are special in the team. They make the biggest contribution with the least resources, including the controlling and fighting for vision, help ADC and even other allies to build advantage on lane, count the spawn time of monsters and opponent’s summoner spells. Some supports even take on the responsibility of commander of the team.

But not all players have a good understanding towards supports. In many areas, circumstances like hang-up and deliberate feeding occur as players don’t like to use supports.

The changes towards supports mainly contains: summoner spells, masteries and ADC stats on bottom lane.

As to summoner spells, Clairvoyance will be removed. Besides, the summoner spell - Exhaust will be a growth spell.multi-language game news
